Olivia Johnston

Olivia Johnston is a contributor at Mountain States Policy Center and is the author of a quarterly column in MSPC's Pinnacle magazine called "On the Law."

 

Olivia is currently a second year law student at the University of Idaho College of Law. Her studies are focused on business law and she hopes to work in complex civil litigation upon graduation. She earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Gonzaga University where she served was instrumental in bringing the Washington Policy Center Young Professionals' Club to campus.

 

In 2021, she was the recipient of the Jennifer Dunn Thompson scholarship, named after former Congresswoman Jennifer Dunn. The honor is awarded annually to women with a promise in policy work.

 

Olivia is honored for the opportunity to write for the Mountain States Policy Center and continue her passion for the intersection of law and policy. She currently is a legal intern at Dunn & Black, P.S. in Spokane.
