Emily Strasburg

Montana Policy Analyst

Emily Strasburg is a graduate of Middlebury College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology. She has launched her career in public policy through competitive honors and fellowship programs with leading research institutions, including the American Enterprise Institute.
Emily brings a distinctive perspective shaped by her educational experiences on the East Coast and her roots in the Mountain West. As a first-generation Wyomingite from Alpine, she is committed to applying her policy expertise to issues affecting the region she calls home. Now based in Bozeman, Montana, she is passionate about contributing to thoughtful, data-driven policy solutions.
Outside of her professional work, Emily takes full advantage of the outdoors. She has spent many seasons in Alaska mushing sled dogs, recreationally and professionally. She is planning to adopt an older Alaskan husky that she has worked with for years, Meg, to come explore Montana with her. Within the mountain west region’s natural landscape, she enjoys backcountry skiing, mountain biking, camping, and fly fishing.
