Marcel Teloma

Policy Analyst, Junkermier Center for Tech and Innovation

Marcel Teloma earned his bachelor’s degree in Communication, Advertising from Brigham Young University–Idaho and has spent several years working in marketing, sales, and political organizing.
In 2020, Marcel joined the Leadership Institute, where he trained and spoke to college students across the country on leadership and campus engagement. He later went on to build and lead Students for DeSantis, the national student organization supporting Governor Ron DeSantis during the Republican presidential primary—establishing chapters in dozens of states and helping train a new generation of young conservative leaders.
Marcel and his wife, Maddy, an Idaho native, recently moved back to Idaho after several years in Washington, D.C., Florida, and Georgia. As they look forward to starting a family, they want to help advance educational freedom and opportunity for children in their community.
Marcel loves the Jacksonville Jaguars and enjoys swimming, skiing, surfing, and golf.
